Minor Surgery Clinics

Minor Surgery – The Practice has a trained clinical professional accredited and able to perform minor surgeries in practice. The clinics are held on Fridays throughout the year and are run by Dr P Sirigiri. Minor surgery procedures that can be done include: excision of lumps such as cysts and lipoma, removal of moles, removal of seborrheic keratosis (common non-cancerous skin growths), excision biopsies (removal of suspicious or abnormal areas of skin to check for signs of disease. If you feel you require this service you will need to come to the surgery to see the doctor of your choice, who will refer you if they feel necessary. You will then be put on the waiting list, and we will contact you with an appointment when one becomes available. We cannot provide information on waiting times, or specific clinic times, however your waiting time will normally be much shorter than having the procedure carried out at a hospital
